With build season behind us and competition season about to begin, it is the perfect time to reflect on everything Team 2609 has experienced over the past several weeks. This year has been fast, loud, chaotic, and incredibly rewarding, and the team has grown in ways we could not have predicted back in January.

We’re proud to celebrate the Wellington Catholic District School Board’s (WCDSB) outstanding work in growing robotics opportunities for youth in Guelph. As highlighted in a recent Wellington Advertiser article by Robin George , WCDSB’s support has helped Team 2609 Beaverworx, reach its largest membership ever and the school board has launched Ontario’s first after-school, credit-based robotics and automation course.
