On Nov 29, three new FIRST LEGO League teams from Guelph—73245 The Hollow Knights (King George, UGDSB), 74060 The Pixel Knights (King George, UGDSB), and 74221 St. Peter Robotics (St. Peter, WCDSB)—took on their first tournament at the University of Waterloo. The second month of preseason has been nothing short of inspiring for Team 2609. From competition prep and strategic workshops to hands-on skill development and outreach planning, November pushed our team to grow in confidence, creativity, and capability.

Over the past four weeks, Team 2609: Beaverworx has been hard at work welcoming new members, building new skills, and preparing for our first off-season event — the STEMley Cup.

We are excited to welcome new members to our FIRST Robotics team FRC-2609 Beaverworx. Grade 9-12 students from Our Lady of Lourdes, St. James, St. John Bosco, and Bishop Macdonell Catholic High Schools are invited to participate in this award-winning program.
