A New FRC Team in Town - Team 11227

If you haven't heard, Guelph has a brand new FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) team this year!

Please welcome rookie FRC team 11227! The is administered by the Upper Grand District School Board (UGDSB), and accepts any high school students across the UGDSB. Stay tuned as we'll reveal our team name in December (see instagram.com/frc11227).

Our team has been hard at work since September learning about FRC, and practicing machining, 3D-printing, programming, Computer-Aided Design (CAD), and much more!

This off-season our students have been working in teams designing robots for the "Lord of Robots" game "Cubic Chaos". Check out some of their work below.

On November 1st, our team had the opportunity to compete in STEMley, thanks to the generous support of FRC teams 4039 MakeShift and 5406 Celt-X.
