Rookie All-Stars in Our 1st Ever Event

Team 11227, Goose Goose Duck, spread our wings and flew through our first ever competition!

Our team was blown away by the kindness, support and Gracious Professionalism seen everywhere at the event from volunteers and FIRST teams!

Goose Goose Duck joined the 7th alliance in playoffs, and we won the Rookie All-Star Award! This award qualifies us to compete at the FIRST Ontario Provincial Championship in Niagara. Thank you to all of our mentors, sponsors, supporters, Royal City Community Robotics, the Upper Grand District School Board @uppergrand and its Specialist High Skills Major Program!

Congrats to @wwfirst team Rockway Robotics @8089.rockway for winning the imagery award - and thank you for helping us bring our tool chest to the competition! Another thank you goes our to WWFIRST team @frc2702 The Rebels for helping us with scouting!

We're excited to see our fellow @royalcitycommunityrobotics FRC team Beaverworx 2609 @team2609 compete this weekend at the North Bay District Event.
